About Iford Baptist
At Iford Baptist Church we are committed to creating a loving and nurturing community that seeks to uphold, share and live out the love of God.
We believe that God so loved the world that He gave His only son Jesus as an atoning sacrifice (John 3:16); that the gospel really is good news – dealing with our past, aiding us in the present and giving hope for the future.
As disciples, we are called to grow in our understanding of Jesus’ ‘way of life’ as revealed in the Bible; to live, empowered by the Holy Spirit, lives that honour God and to express the love of God in word and deed.
We desire to be practical in our demonstration of who God is to us through our actions! We’ve developed three core words which exemplify the heart of who we aim to be at Iford:

Our heart for you is that you come as you are, that you will receive something of the love of God, which will overflow into your everyday environments.
